About

The UBC Undergraduate Journal of Art History (UJAH) is the first initiative within UBC’s Department of Art History, Visual Art, and Theory to provide a publishing platform for undergraduate students. Volume 1, Issue 1 will mark the journal’s first online publication.

The journal was initiated during the summer of 2009 by students Asia Harvey, Rachael Lew and Alexandra Turnbull. The mission for the journal’s first year of existence is simple: to create a publishing opportunity for undergraduate art historical research at the University of British Columbia.
