Faculty

In order to maintain academic credibility, the UBC Undergraduate Journal of Art History consults Faculty Mentors from UBC’s Department of Art History, Visual Art, and Theory.  However, as the journal is an undergraduate initiative, all publication decisions are ultimately made by the editorial board.  The editorial board encourages faculty to volunteer their time and expertise in order to make the UBC Undergraduate Journal of Art History a successful forum for undergraduate art historical research.  Faculty Mentors will be approached by members of the editorial board in order to assist with the following:

           To establish criteria for selecting student papers

           To aid in the evaluation of primary and secondary sources used in student papers

           To ensure the editorial board selects innovative student papers
